The Terminator
In The Terminator, The Terminator stole a number of guns (including the .45 Long slide with laser sighting) from a pawnshop clerk. The Terminator then used the .45 long slide to kill the wrong Sarah Connor and Ginger.
The weapon was also seen when the Terminator almost killed Sarah Connor. Kyle Reese shot the Terminator five times out the glass window, which sent the Terminator flying through the air where he lost his weapon. The Terminator did not seem to care about the loss of the weapon, and continued to track down Sarah Connor.

An identical model was also used by a T-888 in the year 2007 whose mission was to terminate Martin Bedell. The T-888 attempted to assassinate Marty Bedell, firing several shots through his front door before kicking it down. The weapon as subsequently lost by the Triple-8 as it chased John Connor in the woods surrounding the Presidio Alto Military Academy.
