Does anybody know the name of the weapon the T-850 used against the police in the graveyard in T3? Randomicity912 22:43, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

Browning M1919 - Nx1701g 04:00, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
.30 Caliber Light Machinegun used by the U.S in WWI and WWII. Eventually phased out by the M240 and M60 LMG in Vietnam. Definately not someting a person would want to shoot one-handed! -Grimace427 22:38, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it is an M1919 variant by the looks of it. Original version required a four man team! Thanks! Randomicity912 22:57, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I know the shotgun used by the T-800 101 in T1 is a Franchi SPAS 12 variant, but what is the name of the machine gun it used? Randomicity912 15:24, September 28, 2009 (UTC)

If you mean the assault rifle it used in the police shootout then it looks to be the FN FNC. -Grimace427 16:50, September 28, 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, I don't think so. I think it might be an Armalite AR-18 but without a stock. Randomicity912 19:59, September 28, 2009 (UTC)
Wierd, I have never seen an AR-18 in use before. It does appear you are correct. I re-watched the scene in HD, man what an ugly gun! -Grimace427 23:38, September 28, 2009 (UTC)

Split[]

I'd like to split this article into conventional weapons and future weapons. (Both are sub-cat under Category:Weapons.) BUT, I'm not sure it's "Future weapons" or "Futuristic weapons" or other terms. --TX55TALK 03:51, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

Are almost all of the future weapons plasma-based? Maybe we could just create a sub-category of "Plasma weapons" or something... --Kanamekun 04:28, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Not-quite, Thigh Blades and Seekers are not plasma weapons. --TX55TALK 04:44, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
"Future weapons" sounds good to me, "Future weapons" might work as well. "Futuristic weapons" is ambiguous because something can be futuristic and real nonetheless, e.g. an actually existing car could be called futuristic because it looks as if it's from the future. "Conventional weapons" is ambiguous, too, since this term is often used to refer to non-nuclear, non-biological and non-chemical weapons. If a category for actually existing weapons is needed, maybe "Existing weapons" or "Non-fictitious weapons" can be used? Sansmalrst 14:51, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
"Contemporary Weapons", "Future War Weapons" -Grimace427 15:18, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Ah yes, the "contemporary weapons" will be good!
As for non-existing weapons, now we have "Future weapons", "Future War Weapons", and "Fictitious weapons". Anyone has other suggestion before, um, a vote maybe? --TX55TALK 16:55, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Since it appears that "Contemporary weapons" will be used for present-day weapons, "Future weapons" seems to be the natural counterpart. The other two options don't quite cut it. :) Sansmalrst 17:36, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, then "Contemporary weapons" and "Future weapons"! :D (Still need to ask for sure: Any other opinion?) --TX55TALK 18:02, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
