David Andrews (b. 1952) portrayed Robert Brewster, the father of Katherine Brewster and the unwitting instigator of Skynet's takeover in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Andrews has enjoyed a prolific film and TV career since the early 1980s, often playing military men or police detectives.
Andrews was well used to dealing with sexy female androids by the time of his appearance in T3. He previously starred in the cult film Cherry 2000, about a sexy love-android, and in 1992 starred as the human partner of robotic Sgt. Eve Edison in the short-lived SF-detective series, Mann & Machine.
