When Skynet is unable to locate the T-Infinity, it becomes concerned that the machine has been captured by the Resistance. Consequently, the Dire Wolf is dispatched by the A.I. to destroy the T-Infinity in 2015.
The Dire Wolf goes to the Resistance Headquarters, the last place where the T-Infinity was located before it accidentally traveled to 1996 with John Connor. After engaging the Resistance, the Dire Wolf encounters HK-Aerial units and due to it not being listed in their databases, is promptly attacked.
Unable to find the T-Infinity, the Dire Wolf goes to Skynet Research & Development facility in Willo Grove, only to be confronted and attacked by the Series 800 Terminator and the HK-Ariels guarding the place. After destroying the machines, the Dire Wolf enters the facility and goes to the Time Displacement Equipment. The Dire Wolf set the destination to Cahaba Road, Alabama in 1996. Kyle Reese tracks the machine down to the TDE room and is going to destroy it with a sniper riffle. The Dire Wolf notices and attacks Kyle before he can pull the trigger. Kyle tries to escape, only to enter the time displacement sphere. Soon after Kyle enters the time displacement sphere, the Dire Wolf enters it.
The Dire Wolf arrived the woods where Sarah Connor, John Connor and his younger self are fighting the T-Infinity. The T-Infinity, which is heavily damaged, losing its right arm, get ambushed from behind by the Dire Wolf. The Dire Wolf quickly rips its head with ease. Soon after the Dire Wolf destroys the T-Infinity, the Connors start to shoot it. Kyle joins the action with a minigun. John Connor destroys the machine by firing two grenades.
