History[]
The Sarah Connor Chronicles timeline[]
Without being aware of what he was doing, Dr. Boyd helped Catherine Weaver use the Turk to create an AI that would become sentient under the Project Babylon. Sarah Connor, John Connor, and Cameron Phillips went to him as patients to find out about him. They set up a bug in his room to overhear everything he says. Meanwhile, he helped Catherine Weaver have a better relationship with her daughter, Savannah. "The Tower Is Tall But the Fall Is Short"
At a certain point, Dr. Sherman was found dead of heat exhaustion in the ZeiraCorp building. Apparently, John Henry, the building's AI, was forced to re-direct the power because of a blackout and the ventilation systems went offline. Sherman was in a sealed room for unknown reasons and died due to the lack of oxygen and high temperature. "Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point"
Behind the Scenes[]
- The character's name is likely a homage to the time-traveling duo Professor Peabody and his boy Sherman from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.
