Lena Headey (born 3 October 1973) is an English actress, who portrays Sarah Connor in the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She is known for her appearances in The Remains of the Day (1993), Possession (2002), The Brothers Grimm (2005), and her role as the Queen Gorgo in 300 (2006). She is recently playing as the manipulative Queen Cersei Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones.
Career
During her film career, spanning over 15 years, Headey showed her range in a variety of roles, playing characters from Amazon-type warriors and action-minded women in the 2005 films The Cave and The Brothers Grimm, to a lesbian lover in Imagine Me & You.
