The T-799 Cyborg Prototype Series "Eve" is the precursor to the T-800 Terminator. It is developed by Skynet in 2026 from the original timeline and later Skynet's World. The T-799 was a slower model than the T-800 and less intelligent. The T-799 was used from 2026 to 2029 and was then used mostly for guarding the Terminator factories.[citation needed]

Eve's appearance and voice are based on Sergeant Helen Wolfe, a Resistance combatant killed by a Hunter-Killer on the Canadian west coast.[1]

Specifications[]

The T-799 was the first Cyborg model ever developed by Skynet and its Living tissue was later used on the Series 8xx Terminators. The T-799 is able to factor in the emotions of its targets, therefore devising better strategies to neutralize them.

The T-799 and T-800 basically share the same technology but Skynet kept considering them separated models as a form of thanks for Eve's help in his rise.

Like all Terminators, the T-799 is superhumanly strong and durable, therefore being able to easily overcome humans and is invulnerable from small caliber bullets. Still, concentrated fire from high caliber weapons and explosives can damage a T-799 in the long run. The T-799 is powered by a single fuel cell that lasts for approximately 120 years.

The T-799 has a top speed of 20 mph (32 kmh) and can maintain it almost indefinitely thanks to its power source.

Its living tissue is resistant to radiation and when damaged can heal and regrow by consuming proteins.

Notes[]

  • The designation T-799 may indicate that it is a variant of the Series 700 Terminator.
  • Much like the T-800 is introduced in 2026 in the Original timeline, the T-799 is also introduced in the year 2026 from Skynet's World timeline.
  • The T-799's status as the precursor to the T-800 Terminator is similar to that of the T-RIP in Terminator Salvation.
