Intro

Okay, I think I am done writing the Intro for the article... does it make sense? is it too complicated? — JeiaraTalk 01:15, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

It's great! It might help to move the data and analysis up... and the explanations and data sources down? That way, people could go straight to the cool stuff... and then read about what it means? Just a thought - awesome page! --Kanamekun 16:48, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

TSCC DVR Ratings

DVR numbers are huge for Terminator. The show gained 36% viewers through DVR. Dollhouse gained 30% and went from a 2.0 to a 2.6 in the demo, thanks to the DVR numbers. No word yet on T:SCC demo when you factor in DVR numbers. But, don't be fooled these numbers are huge!

The "Terminator" and "Dollhouse" gains are considered very high increases for time-shifted viewing, even for a Friday night. The week's biggest DVR gainer was the CW's "Privileged," followed by NBC's "Life," with "Terminator" placing third."

THIRD, as in third for the entire week of televised programming!!!! Darth Raivon 21:54, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

That's good to hear, if I can gather up DVR numbers, I can do a chart comparing LIVE viewers vs. DVR viewers. Then we can say: Hey Fox! People go out on Friday nights, but they come back later to watch TSCC! :) — JeiaraTalk 22:01, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Ratings talk

Nice and informative article. Are there any official statements about the ratings TSCC should have for a third season? The friday episodes seem more or less stable on a lower level (with some weaker episodes!), maybe they will boost when more action will take place again? -Wikicide 14:11, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

German ratings excursion

Although it has nothing to do with TSCC's future, I just want to give some information about TSCC's fate in german "Free-TV" (unencrypted, receivable by anybody, ad sponsored). After its Germany premiere on the Pay-TV network Premiere on October 20, 2008 (season 1, of course), the Free-TV premiere was on ProSieben on January 12, 2009 – almost exactly one year after the Fox premiere. It was aired as "Terminator: S.C.C.", because there is a trashy german pop singer named Sarah Connor (stage name) and ProSieben fears confusion, because she had a reality TV show (docu-soap) there. The channel did quite a lot of advertising for TSCC, although I did not saw much of it.
TSCC's slot was Monday at 09:15 pm; that evening is used by ProSieben as "Mystery Monday" were many genre series were shown. The german ratings ("Einschaltquote") are measured in 5.640 private households, so 13.000 persons are representative for ca. 34 M german-speaking households with ca. 73 M viewers; the Einschaltquote is comparable to the Nielsen rating (source: Wikipedia).

Episode Rating Viewers Rating Viewers
          (14–49) (14–49) (3+) (3+)
1.01 12,5%     ?         ? 2,03 M
1.02 8,5%     ?         ? 1,43 M
1.03 8,1% 1,08 M 4,3% 1,35 M
1.04 7,6% 1,01 M    ? 1,31 M
1.05 7,6%     ? 3,8% 1,22 M
1.06 6,5% 0,87 M 3,3% 1,05 M

After this ratings, TSCC was moved to Monday midnight. Episode 1.07 had only 0,31 M viewers (I guess 14-49) and a rating (14-49) of 8,6%. But at this air time, it means nothing anymore. The German ratings are not officially published to the public, so the source was DWDL.de. No guarantees :-). -Wikicide 14:11, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
