Who is Cameron writing to?[]

  • During the series we have several times seen Cameron learning about feelings. Feelings may not actually mean something to her, but she sometimes are able to have a correct reactions in situation just like humans. Earlier in the episode she was told when someone dies, people write notes to the person who died in a process of grieving. After Andy Goode was killed her logic suggests to Sarah Connor to write a note to him. When Sarah doesn't want to do it, it may be that she is writing a note to him her self.
  • Based on the conclusion above the person she is writing to could be anyone. It could be someone we haven't met yet or maybe even the terminator who was just killed, because her logic tells her, that since it may be of a same kind of herself she should write a note to him.

SCC 104 jordon

The memorial website in "Heavy Metal".

Jordan's name[]

Regarding the inconsistency with the name of the cheerleader that committed suicide: in "Heavy Metal", when John is leaving a message on the memorial website, her name is spelled "Jordon Cowan" (yes, Jordon with an "o"). I don't know if we ever see her last name spelled "Tallen", but when the councelor speaks with Sarah on the phone, it sure sounds like it. And on the notes in "Queen's Gambit", her first name is clearly "Jordan", not "Jordon". Jfedor 20:04, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

What was Cameron writing at the end of this ep?[]

I get that Cameron learned that people write notes to dead people if you can't cry. But why was she writing a note at the end of this episode - was she mourning the death of the T-888 she killed? She was looking at his CPU really weirdly after she took it out of his head... --Kanamekun 04:08, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I was wondering that, too. Maybe she was writing a note for Derek, prematurely assuming his imminent death. As for her strange look at the CPU, at first I thought maybe she had a moment of reflection, of which she was incapable earlier when discussing Jordan's death with John, but maybe it hit her when she saw a CPU not unlike the one in her own head (compare with the look she gave the robots at the chess tournament). But, seeing how she kept some coltan for herself in "Heavy Metal", maybe we were just shown that she's found another part of a puzzle for the terminator she's secretly building on the side. Or whatever her plan is. She's an enigma. :) Jfedor 19:37, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
I got the impression that Cameron is a very sophisticated robot which are able to learn things on a different level as other terminators. Somehow I think she is trying to learn the customs of humans and writing a note just like those at school did. Who she is writing for could be anyone, maybe she starts to feel a special bond to other terminators because she is the same kind. Ascaaear 21:46, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

I think she was writing to Derek which she thought that he will die. At the moment when she was ready to write, Derek was almost dead. She was trying to do what she seen humans doing. About the terminator Vick, I don't think she was trying to write something, because first of all he was part of the enemy and second because by doing so in such a visible way, she could no longer be trusted by the Connors. She knows how to keep a secret and how to lie. If she wanted to send a note to Vick, she would have done it in secret. --Ana Imfinity (talk) 21:45, July 3, 2017 (UTC)
