Repeated category
Hi.^^ Weeks ago, I found some articles have repeated categories. For example,
- Sarah Connor is in both Category: Characters and Category: Film characters. However, Film characters is already under Category: Characters.
- The Terminator: Death Valley is in both Category: Comics and Category: Dark Horse Comics, which is under the former one.
I was originally going to delete the repeated categories. However, because I am still not familiar with the site policies, I choose not to do so far.(Though I really want to.) So I think I should bring the issue here first for opinions. :-D --TX55TALK 07:33, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Annoying Bullet Points
Am I the only one who finds the new bullet points annoying? Originally, a bullet point would sit on the top sentence and the text would descend from that. But recently the bullet points have started centering themselves, which makes distinguishing between two points difficult.
For example:
- Bullet point = okay, this is fine.
This isn't:
- [Insert text here---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]
See my point? Can we change it back to the way it was, when the bullet point stayed on the top line? Darth Raivon 21:42, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Looks fine for me. Bullet point at the top of the first line, not on the other dash-lines. Maybe an issue with your browser? Did you change/update/auto-update anything recently? -- Uliwitness 21:53, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- The bullets are looking the same to me as before... maybe post a screenshot? --Kanamekun 08:37, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
I haven't changed anything recently. Dunno why it's happening to me:

- Hi, it's an Internet Explorer only problem. The techs have fixed the numbered lists, they are working on the bulleted lists right now. See this discussion for more info and updates. Hope that helps! — JeiaraTalk 20:51, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
That's good to hear. Thanks for the info. :) Darth Raivon 22:37, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Wow, that is annoying. Some of the infoboxes do that too. I think the ones here are okay, though. -Sec_1971 14:51, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
We may have a T-888 on our trail
One head honcho at Fox recently announced that TSCC will not get a third season if it keeps performing as it currently is. It appears the ratings aren't what they'd need to be. -- Uliwitness 20:22, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
This isn't news to anyone. All we can do is hope that FOX's expectations won't be as high for a Friday night show. Darth Raivon 01:49, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Spoiler policy
I have a recommendation for a spoiler policy for episodes of the series: It feels like a good idea to me to not have any spoilers for future episodes in an episode's description. Unless they're whited-out/blackened as spoilers and can only be read by selecting them, or they're in a separate spoiler section on the page. That way, people watching the show for the first time can read the page for an episode without fear of spoilers. Of course, one can still have links to other episodes that contain related revelations, so this won't hurt cross-referencing. What do you folks think of that? -- Uliwitness 01:06, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Oh, also: Could we blacken the background of Spoilers instead of whitening the text? In some cases, the white gaps are not at all visible, which means nobody notices there's any text there that selecting may show. Setting the background to black (I've done this on a few pages so you can try it) seems to work just as well, but gives you obviously 'blackened' text like in released secret reports. Is it possible to maybe even have a special spoiler marker for this so we don't have to muck with spans? -- Uliwitness 01:29, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
I made a template for you if you want to do that:
Code
{{spoilertext | Insert text here [[Sarah Connor (Alternate Timeline)|linkie]]}}
Result
Insert text here linkie — JeiaraTalk 01:40, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Nifty, thanks. By the way: Neither of these work for links. Is there a way to turn the text color of a link black within these, as well? -- Uliwitness 02:01, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, links will be a little more tricky...I'll see what I can do... — JeiaraTalk 22:14, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've modified your sample to contain a link, that way, every time someone stumbles across this page they'll be aware whether we found a solution. How do you specify styles for such a tag? Is it just CSS? Is it a style attribute or a separate style sheet entry? The latter should be fairly straightforward to do, I could probably dig out the info for you. -- Uliwitness 02:38, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Great, thanks! One small tweak? Can you underline the link? Now that it's black, it's kinda hard to tell there is a link anymore. But this is very useful. I'll try and use that instead of spans as I come across them. -- Uliwitness 13:17, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Okay I made the links bold and if you hover over the link it turns red. — JeiaraTalk 05:53, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, fits the bill perfectly! -- Uliwitness 12:27, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Contents removing
Why is some contents of the page was removed? If it is due to the out-date issue, shoudn't there be an archive page? --TX55TALK 03:52, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- You're totally right... Terminator_Wiki:Current_events has archives (Current events archives). I start up another one. If you know what went missing you can copy it over... — JeiaraTalk 06:58, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Help
I am doing a project in eccomics and I need to now what the costs would be to really make a terminator...can anyone help me...sorry if this question is i the wrong place, this is a real question that I need an answer to.
If it's a T-888, you're talking major $$ Coltan (AKA Columbite) comes from Africa, and anything that comes from there would be really expensive. Currently, Coltan runs at about USD$100/kg (roughly 2.2 lbs)[2]
You'd have to figure in that cost versus how much a T-888 would weigh. I'm guessing an amount large enough to build one would weigh about 350kg (about 700lbs). That's being generous. Coltan is very heavy. Think of how heavy those old Nokia cell phones are. They have a tiny chunk of coltan in them about the size of a Tootsie Roll (the new ones, not the good, old-fashioned choke hazards they used to be).
Check this URL for the actual cost: Berkeley Forum

Terminator: Salvation on the Main Page
I know it's insignificant, but it needs to be changed because it opened yesterday so it's currently playing. I don't believe I can edit it just being a member, but it should simply say: Terminator Salvation is Currently Playing. --Revan46 00:50, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
TS Screenshots
I've uploaded a bunch of screenshots from Terminator Salvation for everyone to use. Enjoy! -Sec_1971 22:17, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Oopsy. Two of the screenshots I uploaded might have been from Criminal Minds. If so, sorry, my bad. They were all in the same folder. -Sec_1971 14:13, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
