Early Life

Insertion into the SCC timeline was sufficiently far back enough for the terminator to either take advantage of its superior infiltration protocols to marry a key Skynet progenitor Barbara Chamberlain, or use a targeted model to individually replace the "real Vick" during the course of a horrific car crash, [1] in order to monitor her activities and protect her work from threats.

In the course of this mission, it has terminated subjects from Jessica Peck (an anti-tech lobbyist obstructing his wife's work) to the Resistance fighters sent to aid John Connor and Sarah Connor. The T-888 was successful in killing three of the four resistance fighters.

Season One

When Cameron Phillips and Sarah Connor looked for the Resistance soldiers, they were all dead and this T-888 posed as the one of them. It then started to attack Cameron Phillips, but ran away once it realized she was a cyborg of unknown origin.

Later, the T-888 purposely went to jail to kill Derek Reese, the fourth Resistance fighter, who was also in jail. Derek was being transferred by Agent Ellison into FBI custody in an armored vehicle, when Cameron, Sarah and John hijacked the vehicle and overcame the two armed guards. The T-888 broke out of jail and fought with Cameron. It was able to overpower her and used her gun to shoot at Derek. Before he could get his shot off, Cameron hit the T-888 with a piece of metal and the bullet went into Derek's chest and lungs. Cameron was then able to pin down the T-888 and took its CPU out of its head.

Cameron later burned the T-888's endoskeleton and apparently packaged its flesh. She kept the CPU as an intelligence asset for the Connors.

Multiple units of the same Model

During the fight between the T-888 and Cameron, the T-888's hand was knocked off and was later found by Agent Ellison. Cameron vowed to track down the hand and destroy it.

"Vick's Chip" Demonstrated the terminator's virus-like ability to seize control over any computer it is plugged into , thereby making a "terminator" out of any computer controlled technology. This occurred when John was hacking the chip for information and power levels rose to the terminator CPU's optimal voltage, activating the terminator's protocol. It immediately "targeted" John from within his own laptop and attempted to initiate external communications through attached peripherals (phone, etc...). These devices had to be physically disassembled to prevent Vick's from establishing external links since device controls are no longer solid state but software driven. Vick may have been attempting to either notify other terminators in the timeline about John Connor's location (a primary mission of all terminators) or to escape via software into the communications grid/internet.

Quotes

(John and Cameron are watching a playback of Vick's memory)
Barbara: Vick, god, you poor thing. You're up again? I told you, just take one of my pills. Fine, babe, come back to bed. I can't sleep with you standing there like a statue.
John Connor: Was that thing... Married?
Cameron: The T-triple 8 is an advanced model infiltrator.
John Connor: Yeah, but I don't think she knows. I mean, is that possible?
Cameron: She would not be the first human fooled by a machine.

(Vick and Barbara are sitting together)
Barbara: Do you not wanna work on this? Because I do. I want us to be happy. I've made a decision... We're gonna figure out what we want. Together. I'm quitting my job. I'm... I'm coming home.
Vick: That's not a good idea, babe.
(Vick pours her some more wine)

Barbara: I don't think I can do it. I can't finish.
Vick: But you've almost completed it.
Barbara: But if I do, I just... I feel like it's become a monster, you know? It's become a horrible thing between us. And ever since I started working on it, you've been so... I don't mean to blame you.
Vick: Finish it. (brushes her lips with his thumb) Finish it.
